Terms and Conditions

General

These Terms and Conditions are the rules and regulations for use of the website Webconf.me (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”), and they cover all aspects related to the Site, the services offered in it or those which may eventually be added to it, and they shall govern the relationship with users and anyone who enters the Site (hereinafter referred to generally as the “user”).

The use which the users make of the services included on the Site shall only be considered legal and authorized when it is within the limits herein established and in compliance with the laws in force in the matter resulting from application.

Acceptance

The Site may require user acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as a necessary condition prior to access to the Site and use of its services and/or content.

User registration on the site, or merely entry into and use of the services and/or content of the Site shall imply total acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any user who does not accept the Terms and Conditions or fails to comply with any of the provisions herein contained must abstain from entering the Site and/or using its services or content.

These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time and without previous notification. It is therefore suggested that users check them regularly, as any modifications made will be in force and fully operative from the moment of their publication on the Site.

Users who provide personal information and/or content (including, but not limited to, images, sounds, audiovisual content, information or text in any format), recognize the use made of said information and/or content in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

User Registration

User registration prior to use, access or entry into certain specific services, content, or areas of the Site may be required. The information required for registration shall be reliable and true; if it is not, the Site shall consider the user to be incompliant with these Terms and Conditions, and he or she shall be responsible for all damage and harm that the false or inexact nature of this information may cause to the Site or to third parties.

The username and/or password assigned to users for access to the Site for those users who require them shall be used only by the user to whom they have been assigned. As they are personal and nontransferable, their use by third parties is prohibited. Users are obligated to indemnify and hold the Site harmless in any illegal or harmful act or event imputable to the user or to a third party who may have used the user’s name and/or password. The Site may deny registration requests, as well as cancel existing registrations, without notice of cause and without generating any right for the user.

The information provided by the users to complete their registration will be used exclusively for the purpose established in these Terms and Conditions, and all commercially reasonable mechanisms for the protection of the confidentiality, integrity, and security, as well as the prevention of unauthorized access or unlawful use of this information shall be used, according to the Site’s Privacy Policy. Due to the Site’s particular characteristics, the users may have access to certain non-sensitive content or information that has been added to the Site by other users. To this effect, the users expressly accept and give their consent for the non-sensitive information and content that they include in the Site to be seen by other users and third parties.

Responsibilities

The Site reserves all powers of control and direction of the services, content, data, and information included in the Site. Therefore, according to its own criteria, the Site may make all changes or modifications that it deems pertinent, including but not limited to, adding, altering, substituting, or removing any data, information, or content. Especially, the Site reserves the power to control, edit, or remove partially or completely any data or content included by a user on the Site at its own discretion.

The users shall be solely responsible for the information or content in a broad sense that they include in the Site and/or for their actions on the Site. The Site, its owner, and/or developer shall not be responsible for the use that the users make of it.

If the possibility to complete any kind of download from the Site’s content should exist, the users shall be solely responsible for verifying the integrity of the content to be downloaded, and in no case shall the Site, its owner, and/or developer be responsible for damages that may be caused by the content itself or by any alteration or unauthorized inclusion made by third parties, nor by any material provided by third parties not connected with the Site.

If the Site includes links to other web pages or websites, the user recognizes that the Site has no control over the linked sites and assumes that the link is limited exclusively to the placement of the address of the linked site and does not in any way cover its content, nor any relationship with its owners or developers.

Use of the Site’s services and content

The users accept using and accessing the Site’s content in compliance with the information established in these Terms and Conditions, the legal system to which they are subject, and the rules of conduct imposed by good customs and respect for the rights of third parties.

Prohibitions

All use of the services or conduct that intends or results in damage of the rights of third parties, violates the legal system in any way, and/or constitutes an offensive practice shall be considered a prohibited use by the Site as it transgresses the Site’s objectives. Use of the services or content or the addition of content to the Site that is offensive, discriminatory, crude, inappropriate, promotes or constitutes illegal, criminal, or reprehensible actions, has marketing or commercial objectives expressly not permitted by the Site, and/or seeks to collect information from third parties or users and/or violate the security, integrity, and/or normal operation of the Site shall be considered prohibited use.

Likewise, the users declare that they are the owners or are duly authorized by the owners of the intellectual property rights that may correspond to the content that they add to the site, and they must abstain from adding any type of content not in compliance with the conditions mentioned above. The users assume responsibility before the Site and third parties for the damages or harm that may result from such incompliance.

The Site is the exclusive property of its owners when it is not licensed or granted to a third party, including without limitation its images, design, compilations, code, sounds, brands, titles, mentions, distinctive marks, logos, and all the material that makes it up. Ownership of the set of contents added by users to the Site shall correspond to the owners of the latter, as intellectual property as a project of classification and compilation. This intellectual property is constituted by the selection of the set of contents that make it up. The users irrevocably yield and transfer to the Site’s owner all rights that they may have over the selection of content made upon its addition to the Site. The Site or its owner, as the case may be, reserve all rights to the material and do not yield nor transfer in favor of the user any right over their intellectual property or that of third parties. All reproduction, distribution, and/or modification to the Site must be expressly authorized.

Waiver

Delay or omission by the Site in demanding strict compliance with these Terms and Conditions or in the persecution of violators shall not be interpreted as a waiver of any of its rights.

Nullity

In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid or null, that shall not affect the validity of the others.

Jurisdiction. Applicable Legislation

All legal effects related to the service and contents provided or that may eventually be provided on the Site shall result from the application of the legislation in force in the Republic of Argentina, excluding all rules that refer to the application of foreign laws, and the Ordinary Courts for Commercial Matters seated in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires shall be competent to settle any controversy.
